The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) and UBE Express service joint and agree to give 50 percent fare to all Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and MIAA employee.
MIAA General Manager Eric Castro Ines, and Garrie David President UBE Express said, we providing a clear understanding of the kind of services that we offer our riding
public.
David said, additional routes are evident with the request for Point to Point (P2P) services to Quezon City, Cavite and additional routes for Laguna.
Our current application with the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB)
includes routes to Imus City, Cavite; UP Town in Katipunan, Robinsons Magnolia, Ayala Mall in
Balintawak all in Quezon City. The local government unit of Imus City and Quezon City has endorsed.
our request seemingly because of the Overseas Filipino Workers (OFW) residing in their respective
cities.
The P2P airport transfer supports MIA’s intention to decongest the airport with High Occupancy
Vehicle (HOV) units.
The service likewise offers a safe, reliable and cheap airport transfer
particularly for our OFWs.
Moreover, let me restate that we have offered MIA personnel a 50% discount for the fare to all our destinations.
MIAA GM Ines said, we thank to UBE service and extended to OFW as our way of recognizing our new hero given the contribution that they have offered to our country’s economic growth.
GM Ines immediate coordinate to OWWA Administrator Arnel Ignacio for this project to be benefited our modern hero’s OFWs, a project to the benefit of OFW we will be willing to undertake the same discount scheme.
The OFWs and MIAA employees can avail of the 50% discount
Passengers must present their QR Code together with their corresponding ID upon
boarding for verification
After validation, Passengers may avail the 50% discount.
Passengers must pay/transact cashless with Beep Cards for the 50% discount.
For passenger that will pay in cash, the regular fare shall be applied.
Other discounts will be unavailable when the 50% discount already has been
applied Not valid in conjunction with government mandated discounts (senior
citizen, PWD and/or student) and other promotion of UBE Express
This partnership covers UBE Express routes within Robinsons Manila, Victory Liner
Terminal Pasay City, PITX NAIA Loop, Robinsons Galleria Ortigas, Araneta Cily
Cubao, Robinsons Sta. Rosa, Laguna, Ayala Malls South Park Alabang, and NAIA
Terminals 1, 2, and 3 vice-versa only.
