An influx of passengers departing and arriving at NAIA has begun, after the holiday break

Manila International Airport Authority MIAA expects that the number of passengers departing and arriving in the country will increase starting today until Friday after the long holiday break.

This morning passengers began to flock for their flight schedule today where the departure area of the Ninoy Aquino international Airport NAIA terminal 1 was almost filled with passengers.

Passengers on PAL flights from Dammam and Dubai also arrived one after the other this morning.

According to Public Affairs Office head Connie Bungag, the airport averages 120 to 130 thousand air passengers per day for a regular day, including inbound and outbound passengers, and it is possible to exceed this due to returning passengers from vacations.

Bungag assured that the management of MIAA is prepared for the expected volume of passengers to return to their work abroad as well as passengers returning to the country.
