Fuel surcharge on airplanes, will remain at Level 7-Civil Aeronautics Board

The Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB) announced that the passenger and cargo fuel surcharge on flights will remain at level 7 this December.

According to CAB, this follows the decrease in the cost of jet fuel.

Under Level 7, airline passengers will only pay a fuel surcharge of ₱219 to ₱739 for domestic flights.

While ₱723 to ₱5,374 for international flights depending on the distance of the destination.

Fuel surcharges are additional payments made by air passengers so that airlines can recover fuel costs.
