400 thousand pesos went missing in NAIA terminal, after few days recovered

400 thousand pesos were successfully recovered after the senior citizen who was picked up at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 2, parking area recently returned it.

According to Dominique Garcia he was carrying a bundle that was a mixture of one thousand, five hundred, one hundred and 50 bills, this Friday he took from NAIA 2 the payment from their customer in his Auntie’s online gold selling business.

He said it got mixed up with his other things and he didn’t realize that it fell in the NAIA 2 Parking when they left the taxi, he rode in. The money was in a paper bag.

at that time, senior citizen, Fernando Cua, took his grandson to the airport, and when he was about to board their service that belonged to his son-in-law, he noticed a paper bag on the ground with a torn edge. so, he picked it up.

After a few minutes they waited in their car maybe someone would come back and look for it, but since no one came to look for the money they immediately left for their home in San Juan Metro Manila.

Meanwhile, Dominique Garcia said he immediately returned to the parking area, but since the person who took the said money was gone, he immediately went to the Airport Police.

The CCTV of the airport was immediately reviewed and the vehicle used by Fernando was found and the license plate was found so the investigation with the help of the LTO determined the address of the said vehicle in San Juan owned by the son-in-law of Fernando

Aplasca immediately called PNP Aviation and PNP-Aviation NCR Chief/ Supt. Arnel Apud, and made coordination the turn over Fernando and Dominique met with his cousin Evita Mercado at NAIA terminal 2, past five in the afternoon.

according to Fernando, it was the first time this happened to him, so he didn’t know what to do.

Supt. Arnel Apud, clarify the PNP personnel visit the residence of family Mr Fernando is only natural to check the address of the vehicle seen on cctv.

Dominique was very grateful to grandpa Fernando.
And he tries to give Fernando money as a token for being honest but he refused to accept the token coming him.
