AirAsia offers PHP91 base fare to domestic and international destinations until 24 November

AirAsia Philippines, Asia’s leading Low-Cost Airline revealed that most Filipinos prefer island destinations and cultural sites as alternatives where they can spend their Christmas and New Year holidays.

Island destinations Boracay, Cebu, Panglao, Davao, and Tacloban were the top five most booked domestic destinations for travel from 20 to 31 December.  Meanwhile, international destinations Taipei, Incheon, Tokyo, Hong Kong, and Bangkok were the top choices for the holidays.

“Traditionally, Filipino families prefer to spend reunions at home or visiting the homes of loved ones. However, others, especially those who missed their summer vacation, choose to spend their holiday by the beach to experience a different kind of “white Christmas”. In the same manner, younger, more adventurous individuals who’d like to have a short break from work prefer to spend their holiday get-aways with their peers and explore regional destinations outside the Philippines”, AirAsia Head of Communications and Public Affairs First Officer Steve Dailisan explains.

AirAsia Philippines continues to enjoy a significant improvement in December bookings. Ongoing series of fare promos, backed by other factors such as lower fuel surcharge were seen as primal contributors to the increase.

Asia’s leading Low-Cost Airline entices more Filipinos to book their flight for their Christmas and New Year vacations, as early as now with Go, Go, Go Holideals which offers a PHP 91 one-way base fare for domestic and international destinations for bookings until 26 November, available for travel until 30 April 2024.

“It really pays to plan ahead. Early bookings will definitely save on cost as ticket prices normally increase when nearing your preferred departure dates. While fuel prices remain volatile, what is constant is our commitment to offering reasonable fares and deals that will enable Filipinos to travel”, Dailisan added.
